When the folks running #FriFotos announced on Twitter that the theme this week is VIEWS I knew I had to pull something together. To me as a blogger with a focus on the outdoors, views are often the reward for a lot of energy expended.

Here are what I consider 10 Knock Your Socks Off Views.

  2. Certainly. Canada certainly has the wow factor when it comes to views. Personally I have been on the trail to the plain of the six glaciers to the tea house at the end. What views and hard work as it was partially covered in snow. And I have also visited the Cliffs of Moher. Bow Lake looks totally amazing. The Mont Blanc and Cabot Trail look appealing. I would like to visit the little house on the Mont Blanc trail. But overall I think the Rocky Mountains are just fantastic for grand views.

    • @Muza-chan I love getting up close and personal to glaciers – though I’ll pass on falling in a crevasse.

Surprising Saskatoon: A City of Great Restaurants

TweetSaskatoon took me aback. I figured since it was a prairie city, seemingly in the middle of nowhere – that there would be a backwoods feel to the whole food scene. But was I ever wrong. Saskatoon is a city of great restaurants. Within an hour of landing I was enjoying a fantastic lunch at Souleio’s on [...]
