  1. They’re all great but I love the hugging snowpeople and the Digital Orca. Had no idea that turtle crossings were an issue in Prince Edward County!

  5. I saw the cute snowy people on my RSS reader and knew I had to check out the post. Love the other symbols too. The breast cancer one is especially moving for me.

    • @Ayelet I went to the ceremony for breast cancer and heard the sad but uplifting at the same time story of a woman who had the disease and what she was doing to help others.

    • @Sophie I was also sad to see the Coke bottle so boldly displayed in Africa – nothing like trying to get the population onto drinks offering no nutritional value.

  7. Love the elephants and the Pink Ladies…snow people too!!
    Off to Uganda end of May, for 1 week and am stopping in Istanbull on the way back for 2 nites…any suggestions re where to stay and what to see??only there for 2 nites (have 1 half day and 1 full day to sight see)Wish you could come!! June
