Giveaway – Two Passes For The Mt. Norquay Via Ferrata

Giveaway – Two Passes for the Mt. Norquay Via Ferrata

If you’re looking for adventure in Banff National Park then you’ve got to try the Via Ferrata at Mt. Norquay. Even though you’re clipped in, it can be a little nerve-wracking at times. But also empowering.

What you get with this giveaway

My seventh giveaway out of ten to mark 10 years of blogging is a pass for two people to do the Explorer Route on the Mt. Norquay Via Ferrata. Over 2.5 hours enjoy a scenic ride on the chairlift, climb a couple of pitches and cross the suspension bridge. (Price is $169 per person plus tax.)

If that doesn’t sound like enough for you there are three other options – the Ridewalker (4 hours), Skyline (5 hours) and Sumiteer (6 hours) routes. You can sign up for any of them but you would have to cover the difference in price. At the end of your adventure you’ll undoubtedly want to stay for a drink or enjoy a meal at the Cliffhouse Bistro. It offers one of the best views of Banff.

  3. I haven’t had the pleasure of trying a Via Ferrata but have always wanted to. The Mt. Norquay one looks pretty awesome!!

  4. Myself and a group of friends did this for my birthday a few years ago, we had originally booked for the Skyline but due to icy conditions were only able to do the Ridgewalker. It was an amazing experience that I would and do recommend to everybody and cant wait to do it again!

  5. I hav done the Via Ferrata at kicking horse last summer and it was so fun!! I would love to try the norquay one as I grew up at that mountain and have yet to try it!!

  6. First time going to Banff this next week, this looks amazing. I’ve done the Via Ferrara at Nelson Rocks in WV, USA – absolutely phenomenal memories.

  8. We did a Via Ferrata in Quebec. Can’t wait to try this one at Mt. Norquay. Via Ferrata is a great way to get a feel for rock climbing.

  9. It’s great they offer so many options from easiest (shortest trip) to harder. I think we’re up for a medium difficulty trip and would love to enjoy the mountain views while climbing the Mt Norquay Via Ferrata. Thanks for offering this opportunity and other information for future outdoor adventures

  10. My husband and I have been wanting to try a via ferrata adventure for over 3 years! We even borrowed the Petzel Y-shaped lanyards from a friend. A few weeks ago we decided to make it happen this summer so we can finally experience this adventure as well as give our friend back his lanyards:) What a great blessing that would be if we won this giveaway! Thank you Leigh for these contests that give us opportunity to experience some of the joys (even the fearful joys) you’ve lived!

  11. In case if a winner hasn’t been selected:
Would LOVE to do this, as my husband and I got married at Mount Norquay 2 years ago today 🙂
