Wyoming is a state of contrasts with plains to the east and Rocky Mountains to the west. Home to Yellowstone, the fourth most visited national park in the US and the place to see geysers like “Old Faithful” and a huge amount of wildlife. Nearby is Grand Teton National Park – where the hiking and backcountry skiing is sublime. To get away from the crowds backpack into the Wind River Range. Cycling in the mountains is excellent with Bicycling Magazine calling the 110 mile Around the Block the best ride in the state.
